STEPN Community Family Run is a virtual 5K community run organized alongside the STEPN / STEPN GO Stepnathon.

This is a community-side event, open to everyone including users who did not purchase the Season Pass or join the official Stepnathon challenges. Season Pass holders are also welcome.

The focus is on distance and time, not energy.
Complete an exact 5.00 km run during the event window and submit your result.

Run/Walk anywhere, anytime, at your own pace, and be part of the community.

1. Participation at own responsibility
By joining this event, participants confirm they are medically fit to perform moderate physical activity and take full responsibility for their own health and safety during the run.

The organizers, partners, ambassadors, and volunteers are not responsible for injuries, health issues, loss of property, or other incidents occurring before, during, or after the run.

2. Virtual run & safety
This is a virtual event. Participants choose their own location, route, and time within the event window.

- Run responsibly and according to local laws and regulations
- Be aware of traffic, pedestrians, cyclists, weather conditions, and surroundings
- Stop immediately if you feel unwell or unsafe

3. Fair play & submissions
- Only exact 5.00 km runs are eligible
- One submission per participant
- Screenshot proof must be clear, authentic, and unedited
- All submissions are manually verified

The organizers reserve the right to reject or invalidate submissions that do not meet the event requirements.

4. Results & adjustments
Leaderboards, podiums, and raffle results are published after verification.

The organizers reserve the right to correct or adjust results in case of errors, inconsistencies, or invalid submissions.

5. Event changes
In case of unforeseen circumstances, the event structure, timeline, or rewards may be adjusted.
Any updates will be communicated on the event page and official channels.
Eligibility: Participation is intended for users 18 years and older, or users who are legally permitted to receive digital assets in their jurisdiction.
Participants are responsible for complying with local laws regarding digital assets and prizes.

Activity type: This event is for running or jogging only.
Submissions using bicycles, scooters, treadmills, vehicles, or any form of assisted movement are not allowed.

Headphones & awareness: If using headphones, keep the volume low enough to remain aware of your surroundings and potential hazards.

Health first: If you feel unwell, dizzy, or unsafe during the run, stop immediately.
Your health and safety are more important than completing the event.

Fair participation:
- One participant per submission
- One run per participant
- No edited, reused, or misleading screenshots

Organizer rights: The organizers reserve the right to refuse, invalidate, or remove submissions that do not respect the event rules or compromise fair play.
1. Do I need a Season Pass to join?
No. This is a community-side event and is open to everyone.
Season Pass holders are also welcome, but a Season Pass is not required.

2. Is this based on distance or energy?
This event is distance-based, not energy-based.
Only runs with an exact distance of 5.00 km are eligible.

3. When and how do I submit my result?
You can complete your run anytime between Jan 19 and Jan 25.

Results must be submitted using the official Google Form, where you will provide:

- Your 5K time
- Screenshot proof from STEPN / STEPN GO
- Your X (Twitter) username
- Your Polygon wallet address (for the participation badge)

4. Can I submit more than one run?
No. Only one exact 5K submission per participant is allowed.

5. How are winners selected?
- Top 3 winners are selected based on the fastest verified 5K time
- Places 4–25 enter the sneaker raffle
- Additional prizes are raffled after verification

All submissions are manually verified before results are finalized.

6. When are results and prizes announced?

The final leaderboard, podium, and raffle winners will be published on Jan 26.
